Thanks for the recap/summary of the event. I was so glad to have made it to this event or else I would not have had a chance to meet lovely @Andinarvaez and a handful of other bloggers from around the city.  Also, it was quite refreshing to have an early start to my routine for a change and I must thank you folks for setting it up at @Busboysandpoets, a place I love to visit.</description>

I obviously didn&#039;t do college &quot;the normal way&quot; with taking 2 years off in the middle, but that&#039;s what worked for me. I do agree that I feel a lot of people would benefit from taking a year off to figure out what they&#039;re actually looking for, but THEN go back to some sort of schooling whether it&#039;s a 4-year college, a technical school, culinary school, whatever. Telling people to not get a higher education at all is a big no-no in my book, but I don&#039;t think the emphasis has to be on 4 straight years either.</description>
