Stress

So I apologize–yet again–for my lack of frequent-enough updates. The past week and a half has been rough. Really rough.

Work-wise, though, don’t worry, everything else is fine and dandy. My classes continue to disappoint a little bit–for the most part–in that I’m doing a LOT of work and unfortunately not learning much in return. But I suppose you just do what you gotta do.

In the past week or so, here’s what I’ve accomplished:

  • Constructed posters, leaflets, flyers and a 3-minute campaign video for a mock Danish political campaign
  • Outlined my courses for the rest of my undergraduate career (I register tomorrow morning at 5am–ack!)
  • Written/organized a 15 page advertising plan, with a powerpoint presentation, WITH appendices (i.e. timetables, storyboards, graphs)
  • Held a mini virtual-battle over my resumé with a new career adviser–I’ve decided to compromise, but I’m still not entirely sure I agree
  • Designed, polished and finalized the latest issue of DIScoverCPH, our monthly program newsletter
  • Assisted with organizing and executing the Copenhagen 350.org event (see a few fantastic pictures here, on my flickr account), which was an incredible success, in case you didn’t see the news last weekend
  • Decided to apply for a research grant for next spring at AU–still a work in progress, but will be finished soon, given the deadline is November 3rd!
  • Booked hostels/trains/ferries for all of my travel over the next two weeks

And that about covers it. Speaking of travel, though, here is my finalized travel schedule:

October 31 – November 1: Stockholm, Sweden
November 2 – 3: Helsinki, Finland
November 4: en route to Rostock, Germany
November 5: Rostock, Germany and Amsterdam, Netherlands
November 6 – 8: Amsterdam, Netherlands
November 9-10: Brussels, Belgium
November 11-13: Paris, France
November 14-15: Dublin, Ireland

Should be a busy and awesome two weeks. Thankfully I’ve booked hostels with plenty of free wi-fi, so I’ll be in touch and most likely blogging a lot given that I’ll have much more free time and plenty of travel time to compose new entries / organize photos. Expect much goodness to come from this.

In other news, I must get studying for my last midterm tomorrow (after which I am free!), it looks like it could be a rough one. More later–honest.
